People make a company. Big or small, everybody contributes to the identity of a firm. We want you to feel at home here and to understand the responsibilities and liberties of the work place, as you do of your home.
1. Take up a responsibility. Like we do at home. Are the workstations clean? Is the electricity being saved? Are the plants being watered? Et al. Again, this is your company.
2. You can be serious without a suit. How seriously one is taken, depends on your professionalism and demeanor at work. Formal clothing has nothing to do with it while you are in the company of your team members. Though, vulgarity shall not be tolerated. Most welcome to wear a suit, if that brings out the best in you!
Passion for what you do
We believe that the best results are achieved when you enjoy doing what you do. Which is why, at Envisage Media, you set your own deadlines and are self-responsible for achieving the same. Therefore, we love to preach a freedom-oriented work environment. We have created a system keeping this in mind.
1. There shall be low monitoring of hours spent by the employee in the office premise.
2. The employee shall set their own deadlines, keeping in mind the priorities of tasks at hand. And shall intimate the same to other team members during weekly meetings.
3. We do not encourage ‘asking permission’ for small tasks. When a task is allotted to you, you are your own boss and are expected to be self-responsible to get it done. In the process, be considerate about others’ workload and deadlines.
4. Creativity and brilliant ideas can come from anyone. All opinions matter, and we are all ears. There is no room for arrogance, or internal competition.
Teamwork
Work as a team, and you grow; divide, and you fall. We do not point fingers here:
1. No one person takes credit for an achievement. As a team, we build on ideas, work on it and rejoice for our achievements.
2. Similarly, we do not blame our team members. We are problem solvers. We understand the issue at hand and mend the situation.
Recreation
We are a growing company. Therefore, we love hard working people. And we understand that even the most passionate of employees deserve a break. The reason, as to why the company’s office/offices shall host an array of recreational activities, outings and celebrations, when required. Needless to say, suggestions are always welcome.
